Due to its economy, the demand for recuperators is constantly growing, however, to ensure the required temperature of the incoming medium, it is necessary to select equipment with sufficient power.

The high-temperature recuperator has many advantages includingenergy independence and durability. The efficiency of the recuperator is not inferior to other devices for heating the incoming medium, however, it is necessary to choose the right option.

A heat exchanger is a device in which heat transfer occurs between inlet and outlet medium. Medium are separated by plates or walls of pipes (depending on the type of heat exchanger).

The heat exchanger is a working unit with heat transferring from one to another medium. They can be separated by plates or walls of pipes, if one of the medium moves through the pipes. The larger the area of the separating surface, the more efficient the heat exchange is.

In case of direct flow schemethe medium move in one direction. Otherwise, heating and heated mediummove towards each other. Cross-flow direction is provided by the design of the heat exchanger: the mediummove perpendicularly and heat transfer occurs when they cross in the module of the apparatus.
